Hi! Many people are aware of the possible earnings from investing, but yet spend money instead of saving for the future. Of course you can do whatever you want with your own money, but a lot of people don’t realize the actual value of their money if saved and invested for the future. I made a calculator to show you what you would have earned if you invested either in the stock market or in a savings account/CD with interest. Simply input the start/end date, initial dollar amount, and, for the stock calculator, the ticker of what you want to track (it defaults to the S&P 500). The calculator even accounts for interest. Of course this simply shows past information and doesn’t guarantee future gains. I simply intend for this to be educational and show you the potential value of money of saved. Hope you enjoy!
